Poplar for Sale!! Been cut for 18 months

Theres about 300 tonnes of poplar near Kings Lynn which was cut last winter and is so dry that you can't get more that 11 tonnes on a 44 tonne timber wagon. All between 12 and 4" approx diameter. would make good firewood i think.

 

That doesnt make any sense mate- do you mean 11m3 on atimber wagon?:biggrin:

I think he means it's really really dry an the driver can only get 11 tonne on when full as opposed to 25tonne if it was fresh cut,not that he would anyway coz it's still light when fresh cut.Have never heard of 11tonne loads but i remember one dry summer our pulp was goin away in 16tonne loads and lorry was full!:001_smile:
