New harness time

I really like the look of that one Arrozdoce, seems really simple with decent buckles, which is exactly what I want.

Clarks don't do them any more and it looks like Gustharts only have them in XL, and I'd like to have a hang in one first.

 

Because of that, and I never thought I'd say this, but I think the Stein Vega is winning at the minute!!! Pros and cons?

 

If only Petzl would sort out their shitty buckle and adjustment system I wouldn't have to go through this!

Any feedback on the Courant Koala?

 

The Singing Rock Timber looks good, but it might be a bit weird only having the bridge attached to the leg loops? Bloody cheap as well!

I have the singing rock timber.....it seems good. Nice and light, easy to lift legs up high etc. Occasional testicular issues and slips down from time to time ( I have never had a harness that doesn't though)

 

I have gone to this from a dragon fly which is a comfier harness to watch your ground crew fanny about from but feels bulkier and harder to squeeze through tight spots etc.....

 

I cannot compare to the other posher harnesses as I only see these on videos on the web

Re bridge on leg loops looking through gustarts website seems attached in same place as other harnesses?

Once the rope bridge on the petzl sequoia starts to fray it deteriorates very quickly.
The bridge on my mates sequoia went from looking worn to this in one mornings climbing!!!

The Courant has a skateboard deck thing you can slip in the back of it Paul, best of both worlds.

Treehog 5000 anyone?

How bulky is it?

Gustharts are discontinuing the Singing Rock, which is never a good sign (I see what you mean about the attachment points Bill, cheers).
