What welders do people have ?, after doing some onsite welding I'm looking for something a bit more compact.

Are these inverter welders any good, I use an old school one that is 20years old still going strong.

Use a Mosa 200amp petrol welder/gen for site repairs if needed. Brother has a little SIP inverter think its a T143 great machine striking an arc is easy even when turned down low, down side leads were a bit short.

Could the leads be extended, I can get hold of a 220amp , the one we use is a 140amp. Wondering if the inverter are any good as in lighter to, as was welding from height and old welder heavy to carry.

You can but my brother bought longer electro holder lead so he could weld brackets on steel roof trusses

Just ordered one of these https://www.jasic.co.uk/mig160

Time will tell how good it is but keep hearing good things about them

A friend of mine has a Jasic 200 amp multi process welder and it works well as a mig and as an arc welder. Not tried as a tig as no argon available but don't need that function really.

I just got a Stel 221p mig  after my old arc packed in,I got an extra gun with a Teflon liner and Argon & after a bit of playing about with a bit of Ali it seems good, trailer sides are the first project.

First pic is single pulse 2nd  is on double pulse .
