Oh - he was useful then ! I would say new drive sprocket with bar n chain replaced,  as the power of that saw will wear said drive rim quick enuff too K

the husky bar number reads like this(this bar worked on the 576 but not the 372)

the oregon bar reads like this(this bar worked on neither saw)

Well, isn't the evidence right there in your picture?  That drive link is different to its neighbours. .... looks like an assembly link to join the chain loop. 

Is it this link every time the chain goes round? 

 

Edit : Even the distance between rivets looks different.
