Have been running my SII petrol 2 1/4 fr 8 years on LPG and the performance has tailed off a bit , so I thought a look at the valves may be on the cards . I have run this vehicle for 10 years in various guises and the chassis and engine are original .

Bit of bore wear at top of piston travel , but oil pressure good still. So its out with the seat cutter n cordless drill - £5 to the one who spots the engineers dodge in the pic ;) K

Nope G Solihull finest cutting paste ( no fiver ;) ) glass paper gets a nice shine on steel tho, k

...and mounted it in the cordless drill. I always thought a back and fore twisting was better than constant rotary motion for the paste??
