it certainly is, i started off with the Gill ones, but my thumb and forefinger soon got freezing, so i then grabbed the seal skinz, what a difference, it was raining pretty heavy at the end up and my hands were fine.

I got my seal skinz gloves today, Juts in time to i reckon, car said minus 3 this morning, So ill be wearing them tomorrow :thumbup1:

Minus 5 here this morning but I've had roasty toasty toes all day with my Woolpower socks on :001_tongue:

Simples, I just dont work in the rain and if I lived in scotland where it rains forever, I would move down to Yorkshire, where men are men and dont wear girly gloves

Interesting. I DO work in the rain, but only wear gloves when sawing. Nothing worse than putting cold, wet gloves back on. Or, leaving them dry overnight so they set in a claw shape. I'd sooner stay gloveless, no matter how cold it gets.

once you get going then your hands will stay warm all day i reckon, but its just for that innitial start up or when working with machinery, metal is a lot colder than wood that is for sure
