I've been reluctantly picking up more and more hedge cutting work, and my blunt rough cut ht 85 is not that tidy, what's everyone s weapon of choice for a good finish? Ta

Yeah, but rough cut aren't going to give a cracking finish I wouldn't have thought?

Ive found electric hedgecutters give the best finish but are rarely a practical option.

I use the still double sided HS45 hedgetrimmers and get them sharpend or get new blades...always a good finish on privot and leylandii

If staying with a long handled, the ECHO HCA-265ES would probably get my vote. [emoji6]

I'm replacing my 265's as they die, going back to Stihl.
The power units are good but I hate the echo trimmer heads.

Have you seen or used one of the new Stihl heads? If you can get one atm.
