PTO chippers

Hi, does anyone out there recommend a pto chipper for a 110hp tractor and can you tow a trailer with the chipper attached to the 3 point linkage??

Farmi 260HF is the best value for performance machine out there. HOWEVER - one of the members on here Shreks Wee Brother has a very nice TP250 for sale, that would be my recomendation.

As for pulling a trailer, you need a special drawbar building to go under the chipper.

The TP230 has a draw bar for pulling a trailer off road but i wouldn't recommend it. I did it a few times with my old one.

Sounds interesting how does it compare to the farmi and do you know how much he wants for it?

The trailer is a twin axel 8 ton grain trailer, what kind of drawbar and where would I find one?

i recently brought a tp250 from an arbtalk member, would be fine behind a 130 hp tractor......... heavier than the farmi 260 but still damned good chipper. like others say you would need a trailer with a special drawbar

thanks edd:thumbup1:i have a tp 250, great chippers, very simple to change the blades and maintain, it needs a 110hp to work it and i also have the no stress for it in a box. I am not sure about the exact laws on towing a trailer with the correct tow hitch made up for it, all the weight would be on the linkage, as buzz says its fine for off road but unsure about the legalities.
