No - that view gives each thread about 3/4" of screen space in its own little box which displays only about 30 threads before having to click on Load More Activity (the old forum would display around 60 before having to click for the next page)  Also hovering the mouse over the topic doesn't  give a summary of the first post.  Apart from that, its great:$

Sorry to say iam struggling with this new layout, it's got too much clutter and it all seems spaced out, it's difficult to navigate and seems to have more areas, iam not your typical user in that i don't do facebook etc etc, i feel it needs to be compressed so you can see more areas on the screen, iam sure i will get more used to it but atm i am struggling , just att the picture that was better than expected so that's one big positive, any tips anyone has would be much appreciated cheers

Have you tried changing the forum view to list so it looks like the old style. At the top of the page on the right click the box with three lines instead of the four squares.

Oxymoron springs to mind.

Sorry wes i was defining clutter as stuff that serves no purpose and spaced out as the way i can only see 5 topics on my phone screen as the lines are spaced wide apart and that's in condensed as peatff mentioned, do you think you could get away with just a title and not who has replied, as i said better on pc ?

Got to be honest I love the new mobile friendly site, I'm always on my phone and I prefer this to the old app now that I have had a few days to get used.

Nope  - this new layout is way too cluttered to deliver what I want from a forum. You shouldn't have to struggle to do what was once so simple. I'm on a pc , so screen space is not an issue, but the layouts are simply too cluttered.

I worked in IT for 30 odd years & this is not what software is supposed to be like for the end user. I'll look in occasionally over the next few days, but it's just too much hassle for what is supposed to be an enjoyable experience.

I don't get the cluttered comments personally.  I have had more people comment that the site looks cleaner since the upgrades.  I would really like to understand specifically which aspects people find cluttered.
