Yes I have one.

Had it since the APF last year and still a cracker. My only gripe is the hilt type thing. Sometimes it gets caught if yu are cutting in a tight union. Also it doesn't sit as deep in the scabbard so can fall out if you are in a funny position. It does have a leather strap though and pressed stud which takes second to open close.

I love mine. It make me look like a Pirate.

Thats so wierd...!! I used one the other day, didnt climb with it(thank f#@k) its like a bleedin sword.

Its just a big zubat with a hilt-which is a good idea for hand sawing in the wet.

Feels well balanced in the hand, not too heavy but id struggle to justify using it over a zubat(my go to silky)as its just to big and bulky.

For ground use id say yeah get one but id never climb with that monster on my harness.

I'm minimal kit too, just take up what you need. Everything else is in a bag and worst case can be sent up.

I usually climb to the top put my anchor in then down I come fill saw up, warm it up, have a bite of a sarny with a small brew then crack on.

Each to their own mind.
