Help!

I've been asked to find a person to head up an in-house tree team for a housing company.

Part of the role will be supervising two tree surveyors.

The company are asking what sort of qualification level they should be asking for (as well as experience, obviously).

I'm thinking HND level?

Any input welcome.

If it's a housing association it will more than likely be hazard tree inspections/reports and inspecting the standard of tree work that has been carried out.

I would have thought that at a minimum Tech cert/L4/Fdsc leading to L6/Bsc.

If you look on the AA website they have a list of all the quals and the type of position they are relevant to. If you can't find it I'll put the link up later as I'm just off out now.

It's not clear if you're tasking about the qualifications of the head of the team or the tree surveyors.

If it's the head of the team, there's no particular reason why they should have the qualifications necessary to do tree surveys.
