yes well said, I think he means widthxdepthxlength gives cubic metres filled flat - with air spaces! as we all have to tell customers to remember its not an exact science when they stack them and think your .08 short:001_huh:

Are people not aware that transit backs come in various sizes???????????????????

Cant believe this either! There still plenty who are selling firewood thinking a load is a load:confused1:

GOOD POINT, BUT , USUALLY 10ft BY 6ft 6".

mine is and so is TONYS.

Thats why i was taking the mick when i asked if anyone knew if a tranny load is the same as an LDV load:blushing:

Bob, my LDV is also 10 foot by 6 foot 6, but if i cut my sides down to 6 inches high will it still be a load? Yep, i suppose it will be, its still 10 foot by 6 foot 6

Cant believe this blasé approach is still carried out by so called professionals:confused1:

Not just you Bob(or your mate Tony), there are many

Why the hell cant people say they will deliver 3 cubic meters of mixed hardwood logs, dried to below 20% moisture, tipped on the drive for £240?

Doesnt really matter what truck it comes in, if its heaped, level, how many bags there is, or even what colour the truck or bags are!
