Will you have any problems with planing if you use it as a yard?

It wont be an every day yard, more like once a week or less. Its actually quite a way from where I live but smack bang in the middle of my work area. It will serve more as a way of getting rid of chip as and when I have it, currently I have to pay 50€ per tonne to have it removed, or find willing people which is a ball ache.

As such it wont be 'officially' be a yard, but would be very private with no real neighbors.

If I was a gambling man, which I'm not, I'd struggle to find a reason that you weren't Matelot. Sailor, Military background, You specialise in Logistics, Matelot 'works' in road construction. You have an Arb consultancy business, Matelot knows way more than would be considered normal for a road builder in terms of forestry management. There's a telling correlation between the times of his postings and those of yourself. Good job I'm not a gambling man.
