Get it built by a pro. Mine cost £250, much better than wasting loads of my time when I could be out earning money imo.

That's pretty much what I think. Or like $400 to $1000 US dollars worth. If someone is starting from scratch, best to have one done first. Learning to edit can be learned later.

Pros can sometimes help with rankings, except in big cities or where the market is saturated online, in which case promises for high rankings become null and void in many cases.

Here is the long explanation why ...

The pro can get a site fine-tuned though.

The only prob with yours peter is it is mainly flash based which means it is un searchable by bots meaning a high s-engine ranking is unlikely..

ive always thought a massive gallery, updated regular like, is a great advert for yourself, so people can see that you do this day in day out, almost like a photoblog.

updating keeps your google ranking high too, if you do get a pro to do it ask him to show you how to update it with new pics....

mine was £400 btw

Unless you metatag all your pics they are useless for search bots, updating a website has no effect on your listing unless you make a better job of how your script and meta tags are sorted/worded. :sneaky2:
