How are the veggies coming along?

Most of the tomatoes into final pots. And, beans, peas, sweetcorn and new strawberries, (just starting to flower), all planted out. I'm trying to get everything done and out of small pots before we leave to go away for a couple of weeks. It's a challenge, I don't think the pumpkins will be ready unfortunately.

These are Kiwis, Siberian. We've got three plants all looking to flower this year so we might get some fruit for the first time. They're not self-fertile as they come in male and female, hopefully we've got a mix.

Whats the wicking blue stuff did it work well drawing water from the "reservoirs"?

It's this kind of stuff.

Therefore it is ideal for greenhouses and indoor plants. Use with Grow ItSeed andGravel Trays.

No, it's not working well this year. Strange because it's been good previous years. Maybe it's too old or the reservoirs are slightly too low. I'd recommend it if you set it up successfully. It provides a nice constant supply of water and very useful if you go away for a few days.

Boysenberries are brilliant btw. Easy to grow, very productive, good flavour, large fruits, no thorns. What else could you possibly want in a berry fruit? Mixed race so the best of all berries obviously.

They look really good. No slug damage?

Now, I might be wrong here, but I think the capillary matting might be able to capillitate more effectively if the reservoirs are above the target audience. In the same way one would syphon water from a higher altitude to a lower one. You've then got gravity working in your favour, rather than against you.
