I bought a splitta 400 with the elevator and is perfect for Arb waste. It's the only thing on the market I saw that would be any good for it. Now we have it we ring everything on site at 10" which is a great size log once split. Then when we come to split we fire it through around 12 cube an hour.

If we have been doing big rings then we pre split them in half with our upright splitter on our boxer

I really like this machine. I have made the decision to buy it on at least 5 occasions but chicken out every time.:blushing:

There are lots of benefits to a bit of kit like this and iam not going to list them all here but for me this thing is a game changer, it's automatic, once that infeed conveyor is loaded up you just oversea what's going on, the output is superb, and as people said it's rare anything stops it, i have the bagging shoot, so have been able do a few nets of kindling and logs, in my first year from a standing start and no advertising i did 5000 nets mix of kindling and logs, now i only do this two days a week, everyone who uses this machine likes it, i like it as it's very safe so i can let others get involved and with a few basic rules like don't put you hand in there, since buying this my thor is sat in corner gathering dust, now mines the older 360 so 10 inch max length, the 400 is a bit bigger i think and that would be a better move, but the 360 takes 10 inch max and it is like a quality control in itself think the 400 is 13 inch but might be wrong, hope this helps, i think fuelwood do a try b4 u buy deal, here's a pic of what i split on Sunday in about an hourIMG_1673.jpg.c7b7b5d30637ab7cd67ea42c046f55de.jpg
