Swazi Karona Anorak

Well I can confirm it doesn't leak.

Wasn't too hot but time will tell after a few hour climbing in it.

So far so good and the skirt doesn't really restrict movement.

I am sure I will get to test it some more. Especially with this current run of outstanding weather we seem to be experiencing.

Still think the Aldi fishing jacket thing is good value .

True.

There were none left in my size, but I did grab a medium for my son.

I have had similar jackets to the aldi. They are great for windproof but do leak after a period of heavy rain.

I still use mine on drizzly days.

Waterproof, wind proof, neoprene cuffs, half leg zips for easy access.

I have had a cut and climb for about 4 years now. Well 2 to be precise, the first was replaced by Clarks after a technical issue and the second it still going strong after 3 years.

My only gripe is the lack of hood.

I have worked over the years with a number of Kiwi's. Also a number of guys who have visited/worked there. I have never heard a bad thing said above it kit from Swazi.

Ray Mears has had a Tahr jacket for years and swears by their clothing.

I will be moving to Norway permanently this year so fancied something to deal without the rain over there. The Swazi Karona Anorak looked like it was up to task. Waterproof, windproof and with a hood. HV as well for road side work.

First impressions are it is really well made and looks like it will live up to the reputation of the other equipment in the workwear range.

I will let you know once it has had a full try out.

where abouts in norway are heading? im moving to stavanger for a bit but im finding it tricky to find a company there. do you know of any? cheers

What size is yours rich and it seems from the phot that it fits alright so what size chest are you? Not hitting on you dude just trying to work out which size I need and my lad as we need new waterproofs. Our canoe cags and pulsar coats are not exactly waterproof anymore and this would seem to replace both in one jacket.

Hello mate. I am moving to the Oslo area. Sorry I don't know that many companies or what level the industry is over in Stavanger.

Good luck with everything though.
