He's a 2006 machine with closed in hydraulic gears, I've got 3 lights on the computer and it seem to be revving flat out and can't get anymore out of it. But will try the other suggestions later

I've got 2004 open gear one that had similar problem and turned out to be the keyway that drove the bottom gear from the hydraulic motor at the bottom had worked loose and fell out. Don't know the setup of the of the closed version but might be similar setup. Might be worth giving arbrep a call, the chap there can be quite helpful with diagnosis over the phone

Ive one (2007 machine) with a sloping removable hopper, not the fold up hopper. underneath, on the join is a metal tab on the hopper, and a push in sensor on the main body of the machine.

Mine had the same symptoms as yours when i got it, the tab must have been bent slightly during transport as the hopper was off.. if this is a new problem, maybe just cut the wires and join together?

I managed to wedge a washer in there to test it, then bolted a piece of metal in as a temporary, now permanent fix

I had the exact same thing, the oil pan at the bottom caught all the bits so we just fished about and found the key, thing that goes over the cog and the bolt.

10 minute job once you find all the stuff.

I check all those bolts regularly now. The motor bolts work their way loose now and then
