Small dog teeth

Recently bought a stihl 461 to replace a 441, glad I did spec up as it is a stonker. But one thing that has really chapped my ass is the tiny dog teeth on it. Why would you supply a saw with dog teeth that God damn small. I have only used the saw a couple of times ringing up some timber and the exhaust is already dented in! Extra strain on the operator need I go on?! But good saw, will be even better once I get a decent pair of larger dogs.

Bucking spikes or bumper spikes, bigger ones just rob you of bar length why would you want monsters unless they are for posing value ?

Deep craggy bark were you cant get a grip . Little ones fine on smooth bark .

So I can get some God damn purchase. I am happy to loose an inch, got plenty of length, if it means the dawgs are going to bite in and give me something to pivot on.
