We got our Transit tipper mapped a few years back , started getting the engine light coming on and going into limp .

Fault was always fuel pressure too high boost pressure too high , returned it to standard and the faults never returned , it actually used more fuel than standard mapping too .

I had an l200 chipped with a prodrive chip from new , I convereted it into a tipper , and must of carried 1000s of tons of logs in it , and it got flogged all the time. I sold it with over 100k on it , I never had any engine problems

At the moment my valtra has been chipped for nearly 5 years without any problems , to do with the chip anyway

All depends who does the remap. Matey with the ranger... could that not be the shaft breaking off the oil pump, common fault, causing seizure??

Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app

It snapped a con rod big hole in engine block, but as I said Ben is Ben he can't leave any thing as standard every thing he gets he has to do improvements to it,but never gets owt sorted properly ,my mate can do that, his garage (30x60 ft farm building) is full of unfinished projects or things he has f----d up, the one project I wouldn't mind is a mid/late 80s Yamaha 750 exup with about 3000mls on it he's said he was going to get it doing 180-190 mph I don't think the factory race bikes did that ?,its all in a box in about a thousand pieces.

Hi yes I think its correct title would be Yamaha fzr 750r exup owo1 I am sure its on a G plate so that would be 89/90 so that should be correct as I think they first appeared about 88 ?.

Noriuki Haga ( spelling ) raced one in WSB and there were the Cabury Boost bikes in BSB at the time .

Yes and foggy had one in bsb and was on one when he had his epic battle with hislop onboard the 588 Norton on the isle of man in 1990, I just wish I could get Ben to part with his but its like every thing else he has you ask , and its I will get round to it, but he never will.
