I use syntrans in the gearbox and normal AP 90 in the Diffs and Hubs. The Hubs are just a couple of large Bearings and the Diffs can't have too many mysterys to them surely?

I use synthetic in the hubs and diffs. Its what Alex recommends. Maybe its over kill, but they don't hold much oil and are vey expensive to repair so I figure its worth the extra cost.

it doesnt mater to much what manufacturer you pick, any ep75-90 will do, as long as its a GL4 spec........under no circumstance use the newer GL5 spec as you will destroy your box.........( the german army use the same oil in the gearbox and engine, a single weight sae 30 grade, and just change it regularly with no problems)
