If I did it would have been melted down into earings for you to compliment your chav look :laugh1:

Chav??? I seem to remember you being the one who donned the "mckenzie" and "henleys" attire, in a recent london visit. I resent that remark. I'd rather get called a hairdresser.:laugh1:

like shreck said its suprising their allowed to bulldoze a graveyard or make it into a lawn for that matter, someone bought an old church not far from me and before they could do any work there all the bodies had to be exumed and re buried in a local cemetry, because no matter how old the graves i think theres some old law (in wales anyway) that says family and relitives are able to visit the graves,

They sent letters to all the next of kin, Only a handful responded and they were exumed and re-burried somewhere else, All the rest got dug up and put in a tub grinder along with all the head stones for hardcore, Really shocking and a proper shame but you cant stop progress i guess

Things might be different now but I assure you, the gravestones were all dressed and sold for building, any lettering was "backed off".

None of the bodies were moved, they were covered over with soft mulch so the grave could be filled with topsoil without damaging the skeleton. This was a graveyard with no tombs.

The graveyard opposite my last house was full of tombs, the same happened there as what happened in Mozzas example, the relatives were wrote to and given warning, the bodys were all exumed and the diggers moved in, fact

I know the head stones will be recycled, but there is NO WAY human remains will be used as hard core.

I worked on a job where there were a few human bones, every time even a fragment was found they had to stop and get a guy to come and collect it.

They will lift very old bones from graves and put them in a mass unmarked grave.

The remains were taken away Dave, if anything was found during excavation work came to a standstill while they were carefully removed

I kid you not, I honestly wouldnt lie, its a fact that happened that i saw with my own eyes, A few did get exumed when the familys got in touch, got moved and re-burried, Some of the graves were from 1700 and obviously they couldnt get in touch with the familys, Some got exumed, many didnt, It would of took years to seperate every bone, The whole clearance job, Over grown, Mature trees, site flattend, Ready for foundations took 3 months
