Is that a disc chipper? The only morbark I have used was a big drum machine..

I recently bought an M8D (in NZ). Fantastic fabrication, a fair bit heavier than my last 6 inch chipper but have no doubt it will stand the test of time. Seemed to be robust in construction even compared to the closest sized Bandit. Didn't feed quite so well however. What engine options do you offer in the UK?

Has the good old 1505 kubota engine, choice of turbo or not.

I ended up opting for the 35hp Kohler petrol guzzler. The Kubota engine adding a lot of weight and an extra $10,000 (£5k). It ended up being too closely priced to a new 12inch machine so didn't make sense economically, although I do feel it's a waste sometimes having the capacity but not quite enough ponies.

Yes it is a 25 hp engine but the heavier machine is the M8D. It's the way to go.
