Hope i’m reading right, you want it without the hole machined?
But if it does come machined can you not just put a low profile bung in it?

It is 50cc and think that there was a US version without a decomp hole. It will work fine without it, bit more stress on the starter pulley but not an issue!

I would have preferred one with a machined hole, but this doesn't have one it seems. Guess I could get one machined, but it isn't hard to start a 50cc saw without one.

Get ya! I was reading it opposite way round, you could drill and tap it yourself if ya really wanted, no biggy, but as said will be fine otherwise [emoji106]

When the new addition 346xp was introduced it came in three different guises, 50cc with deco valve, 50cc without deco valve and and a smaller cc machine for the Asian market ( short arms, and working on banks) the variant that was best equipt for the Uk market and gave the filter and muffler etc we wanted also gave us the deco valve, not having the valve is no real issue, and does give a small increase in power, deco valves leak and even when blanked off the drilling is still there, as long as this is the original Mahla cylinder then all should be fine, you may get custom charges on top of the price.

You're probably better off without a decomp valve. My 261 decomp started leaking and realistically, if you cant fire over a 50cc saw without a decomp valve you probably shouldn't be using it 😂

This recent govenment document suggests there's no tax to pay on goods under 135gbp.... Probably too many hoops to jump through for retailers ?
