Be careful drying wood samples

I did a lot of work for a keen woodturner he used to turn green blanks and then microwave them he had some really good results

 

When I was a student I used to microwave pizzas and sausages. It was very quick, but I did not have really good results :blushing:

Microwaving a wood sample to see how wet it was but left it in for too long. Clouds of smoke billowing out of the microwave and house now full of smoke. Still smoking having removed it and chucked it outside :laugh1::blushing:
