That's just not what I had expected! It's amazing how quick it appears to ascend and descend, I'm curious to the battery use time. The one video at Santa Barbara bridge. That's 780' up from the road below. Thanks for the video! Steve!

Call that 250 metres and assume the climber, plus lift, top out at 100kg needs 68Wh with no losses. One can buy 18V cordless drills with 4Ah batteries but I bet you cannot get all of the 4Ah out of them.

That's Sweet Springs Road at the bottom, it leads to Sweet Springs Tavern about 2 miles away. I used to drink there all the time. That's the Cachuma Pass. I miss that place very much! That's very ballsy going over the side of that bridge!
