After some little **next Tuesday helped himself to my 550 and the police refusing to deal with my wife insisting that they had to speak to me before getting off their fat arses and doing something. I am wondering has anyone on here ever have had their stolen equipment returned to them ? I've got a feeling the police's success rate has got to be around 0%

When my sheds were done over the police told me over the phone " its pointless us coming out to take prints etc as theres not really anything we can do" and quite honestly there isn't, unless you have a body or part of a body. To sum up the law in this country: that very same day I went to briants (stihl dealer) and bought a new h/cutter and blower for a job the next day and got a speeding ticket from a mobile van.

Well the excuse they gave the wife was she was not the victim and therefore they could not do anything until they spoke to the victim, new policy don't you know. So if that's correct that unless the victim and it can only be the victim can report a crime them don't worry about trying to hide a body because it can't report it to the Police so there's no crime apparently
