So many Protos lids out there now...Had mine a couple of years now.Not sure i'll ever use any other....

Dont think i would do either. Really great helmet. Great service from pfanner as well. I broke mine the other week. Used a little stub on a branch as redirect instead of tying a pinto on and it slipped ad hit me in the back of the head. Ripped the helmet of and broke the grey pad behind the clip on the back. Nearly ragged me out the tree with it mind.

Lesson learned dont be lazy.

Anyway got in touch with TreeKit who intern spoke to pfanner and they sent me a new part foc. Great service from them both. Didn't even have to pay the postage. I really cant recommend treekit enough. Always get fab service and really knowledgeable staff

Having trouble finding a climbers lid that sits on my head properly instead of being precariously perched on the uppermost part of my head.

Tried the Petzls and Stiens but to no avail.

Any large headed individuals out there found a suitable helmet?

Cheers

Try the Pfanner Protos. It's very adjustable inside, in more ways than are visible at a glance.
