TC how do you find the pto shaft on the 900 when driving things on the 3 point linkage?

is it just me that finds things dont fit well?

 

is your chipper h+s compliant? lol

i have a 'banana box' which put the pto down and central so all fine. As far as im awear the chipper is h and s. do you know different?

both the u900's here have banana boxes but both my tp760 and igland winch never sit nice. had to make extensions for the winch to fit

 

 

has your chipper got a bottom safety bar and e stop button. im not up on chippers i just stopped using my 6' tp as its not conpliant. well that and the fact i wanted a bigger one

yeah and me, i've heard that people say they seem to be unstable tho?

 

 

Mine wasn't too bad - it spent most of it's time with no wheel weights or water in the wheels. Was mainly thinning and firewood so never really had to do a lot of big lifting - though one job was some stumpy Corsican in summer on a flat site and on the sawlogs, if it could get the grab round it then it would load it without pcking up a wheel. Did scare me the first time it picked a wheel up - only had it a few hours and was still getting used to it - picked a biggish lump of Turkey Oak off the trailer and slew it round and up it went

 

Had to be careful loading pointing up hill as the front would go light and side slopes were interesting when loading (best avoided - but that said the old botex used to lift a leg on side slopes)

 

I'd not say it was unstable, you just drove it accordingly.
