What is the biggest outgoing your business has? after going overboard buying machinery this year i have put a stop on the old bank card getting used too much! looking through bank statements the fuel bill seems to be ever increasing with no way of stopping it!

How many employees do folk have if wages is their biggest outgoing? Last year 2 of us did just short of 100 grands worth of work, i want it to increase again this year but instead of getting another employee and spend all year wiping their arse financially i have invested in a skid steer which is paying off already.

Rough break down of what we spent in 2016 as a percentage..

56 percent on wages..

11.5 percent on VAT

8.5 percent on new stuff and repairs to small plant

5.5 percent on running vehicles including repairs (but not fuel or insurance)

4 percent of professional services

3 percent on fuel

3 percent on advertising

2.3 percent on insurance

1 percent on training
