I've been asked today about using black bulk bags instead of white.

Does anybody use them, any advantages/disadvantages over white?

I'm thinking that black would retain humidity within the bag, but just guessing on that.

Cant see why you would want or need to. Dont know anyone who does black, most are white but Bag Supplies have a green which tends to blend better in the countryside. I have noticed no difference at all between logs dried in white or green bags, cant think that black would be better, just more costly due to lower volumes.

Person who asked me said the white bags get dirty and don't look so good, was wondering if black would be better in that aspect.

I was tempted to reply that it would be easier to sort his yard out, but bit my tongue.

I can't be the only one who misread that title haha.

Do they cost anymore? If not give them a go. But personally I don't know if it would retain the heat that much better. Different colours don't actually retain heat, they retain other forms of energy.

Pleased the thread wasn't about you hitting you knackers :-)
