Might find the pot mounting holes a wider pitch . Also carb may not fit . If you cant get OEM pot and piston get the best aftermarket parts you can and then send it to Spud for a port job . He may be able to savage the pot if its just aluminium transfer . ( Metier piston is of OEM quality )

Thanks for the replies with a bit of research I'd need 357 crank to put a 262 cylinder that is not worth it.

Now on the hunt for a good 254 cylinder

How bad is the cylinder . As said it might be SALVAGEABLE......:biggrin:
