I've been looking at the CT RollNlock grab/pulley but it says in bold letters

Not suitable for use as a bridge adjuster. Looks like it going to be a Kong Duck. (Or a Ropeman 2) 👍

Wrong shape. I like the compactness of the rope man. (Don't like what the teeth could do to the rope though!)

The kong duck would also fit the bill (no pun intended) perfectly shape wise.New ones are pricey at 60 quid though

Why not use some 6mm cord to make a mini prussik/klemheist, nice, simple and works.

I'll take a pic in the new year if I remember I have some cord knocking around that I was going to use for this and have seen it done to good effect.

 

I have untold amounts of gear, bizarrely have a bag of combi spanners.

 

Point is keep it simple modyfying a rope grab for that scenario is complicating a simple task.

Problem I found by putting a hitch on the bridge is it was inside the D's so if you twisted 1 direction the ring hit it and let your bridge lengthen which could be a unnerving experience if you were not expecting it.
