Had the vermeer out on site for the first time today, 2 lads mid 30's & my 74 year old dad did a hell of a lot of work with it, having the capability to move big lumps or drag full trees to where you need them is superb.

 

Wait till you get a bit a bit of time on the machine and the efficiency really shows.

 

Tip rope on large rigged pieces, grab the butt before it hits the floor and drive away.

 

Having everyone on site be good at operating is the key, saves people buggering about putting tools down or putting things in the way. Whoever is closest gets on it and does whatever needs to be done to keep everything flowing.
