Of course its related to the use of any cutting implement or why bother with the 2nd bridge at all,the point i was making is it was implied that my chainsaw technic must be flawed if i was concidering an added safety measure which just is not the case.

I an by no means perfect and admit i still have lots to learn but to imply the 2nd bridge is becaise i am weilding a saw in a dangerous manner is not true.

Makes you wonder how climbers have survived this long on single bridge saddles.

I get it for functionality, if it made you more efficient. Not for me though.

Where do you stop though? Chainsaw protective jackets, gloves, neck guards.

Wire core climb lines?

All are solutions to problems which shouldn't exist as a competent operator.

Aside from the safety aspect and cutting near your nether regions, the two bridges you have seen on Instagram are usually used for two separate climbing systems. Quite a few people on SRT run two bridges to allow to clip another SRT system into a separate bridge for smoother movement and positioning.

That's my take on it anyhow.
