Anyone used the new timberwolf 160?

I've a 2001 model, exactly the same as that. One of the last entecs. Mines also still in daily use, and going to get a paint job over Xmas. Original yellow, not timberwolf orange, as you sometimes see them with.

That's good. I don't like seeing them painted orange with with timberwolf stickers on them. Much better original! I like seeing the diesel ones with the red chippit decals and wood pecker but few and far between that haven't been 'updated'

Another quick observation about that paint job is that the fact the bolts aren't all just sprayed with the rest of it and have been replaced it a nice touch. You see refurbs for sale where they've not bothered and makes you think where else did they cut corners

I sold it when the bearings went and bought a jensen 528 which i have partly overhauled. Awaiting a respray, my compressor died probably over a year ago so haven't got round to sorting the paint job

Erm yeah so far so good so if it carrys like it has then yeah it's reasonable. It's a heavy machine that's seen a lot if work but it was delivered immaculate! Bearings, pipes and filters all new and paintwork..

I would advise anyone to just go for an old 6" machine over a new 5" 25hp chipper
