Hey, never use chains when feeding a chipper - a polyprop strop chips easily enough, a high tensile steel chain doesent....

 

Good point,and cheaper than a sling.

Actually, it was all I could find at the time. It was an emergency Job, 3 BIG leylandii blown onto the road. My grab truck was in the workshop having its brakes done, so I took the flatbed. It is SO much easier handleing stuff with the grapple and top seat controls.

The air filter on the BC1000 I used to work with was on the bottom side of the engine.You could take the end off the air filter housing without opening the bonnett¨.

 

Sorry. I get it now. That is how mine is too. When I said `site clearance`, I meant only if you can drive it onto firm ground - and not over brambles, saplings,tree stumps etc. I couldn`t do that. Clearly your `Mog / Farmi combo is better suited for rough terrain.:icon14:

My set up is more suited to ponsing about in the suburbs and metropolis.
