I have seen Mogs plowing, and I entirely sympathise with your wish to do it, as long as you take the body off so you can see the soil turning. but... somewhere in my hazy memory is something about the front furrow width, a small plough (3f) may not go out wide enough, and a bigger plough with 4f may fit, and will get nearer to the hedge if you are ploughing in.

The new owner has just purchased the extra acreage off a local farmer. The last crop was maize. The idea is to now turn it back to pasture. We intend to do as much as we can before the weather gets too grotty and in spring clear up around the edges ( crown lift trees/clear old scrub etc) to get right up to the boundaries. I'll ask tomorrow about a 4f plough. The body will be coming off the Mog as it'll be a good time to sort out a few things on it whilst it's not in use [emoji106]🏻

The most important bit of info is the wheel centres on the mog, with that info you should be able to buy a plough that would fit.

+ 1 for the pics

Get a 4 furrow plough. 3 can be a total pain to get set up, its either pulling down at the front or twisting down the axis. 4 sits a little better and once you go to 4 furrows you normally get hydraulic vari-width which makes life a little easier.

Personally I'd run the sub soiler over it to break it up then plough it. Then either dyno drive or power harrow it. Drill the grass in and give it a good roll with a set of Cambridge. I'd be thinking of leaving it till spring cultivations now anyway.
