Yes Mick, GNR which we use in the diesel chippers, tractors and grinder.

VAT on ordinary petrol can't be claimed back but E85 petrol 100% of vat for businesses.

I think I read that right...

Maybe, I put my petrol receipts (bought in relatively small quantities in cans) in with my diesel ones, they deduct the TVA every time.

You reckon the bigger maintence firms running mowers, strimmers etc by the dozen swallow the TVA?

I get my accountant wife to read the article later.

As I understand from what is written in the article, you may deduct the tva from petrol ONLY if it is E85

Otherwise, regardless of use SP95 SP98 are not deductable.

The term 'carburant' is a generic term for fuel.

But I'm open to discussion as always.

Jensen A540 & Forst TR8 both use just more than a tank on a very busy day.

So it's safe to assume of course that the tanks are deliberately the size they are.

However, with petrol engines not only will the fuel bill be much higher, we'll have to start carrying spare fuel canisters just to get through the day.

I'm hating this idea.
