Rumours on social media of a recall on the 2511 after someone tried to buy a 2511 in a shop and was told of an impending recall on it.

Can anyone confirm or is it just rumour mill in over drive ?

I hope not as we have sold a load this week! I haven't heard anything about a recall on the 2511.

Are there any more details as to which dealer said it and why?

Probably a Stihl dealer....

I would imagine that there has been a mis-communication and a 2510 asked for rather than a 2511.

I have had my replacement Tiny for about 3 weeks and it hasn't missed a beat
