They're cheap and usable, I started in one and loved it for a bit, then I got another sort (weaver)

I went back to a willans after a few years on the weaver and it was horrible! Gave it away fairly quickly and bought another weaver.

 

It'll do the job.

Stubby, did you have the SB version or the regular t22/2?

 

Regular T22 sit . . My mate still climbs in one he bought in 1878 I think it was . :biggrin:

Thanks for all the feedback so far, I'm still interested in hearing opinions on the version with the metal bridge.

Why make life more difficult than it has to be mate?

A bow saw will do the job, but modern equivalents are streets ahead.
