Willans T22/2 SB

I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Willans T22/2 SB (sliding bridge).

Been arround for as long as I remember so old school nowadays . I had one .

Yeah they have been going years, tbe chap i work with had one until last year. Just looks so uncomfortable and restrictive though.

They're cheap and usable, I started in one and loved it for a bit, then I got another sort (weaver)

I went back to a willans after a few years on the weaver and it was horrible! Gave it away fairly quickly and bought another weaver.

 

It'll do the job.

Why make life more difficult than it has to be mate?

A bow saw will do the job, but modern equivalents are streets ahead.
