Thanks TGB, very frustrating...

 

Hi Ste, out of Lowerhouse Lane depot, checking CCTV footage to try to track as you know it is a prime spot for Motorways and nearby towns/sites.

 

Went on Friday night, presumably made invisible as our 24 Hour Security failed to notice!!

Sorry to hear. A 3t dumper was nicked of a road side building site this morning at 6pm in our village! Just rolled up with a trailer and loaded up job done !!!

Thing is it's easy done they just rock up in a hivis vest with a wagon and say I'm here to pick up x and security has no idea and let's them on the way. If they've got the balls 9 times out of 10 they get away with it 😡

Problem is half the guys working night shift security arnt interested and the other half can't speak English as I've found out doing gritting at night. Guess pay peanuts get monkeys is the correct saying

Not many building firms gave night security now.

We were working in a village last Monday and when the builders turned up first thing to continue their work on the church tower found that over the weekend all the scaffolding around the steeple had disappeared.

There was a lot of chin scratching and disbelief, obviously whoever they were that dismantled it all had to know what they were doing, and have the front to do it.
