It was comical the other day me and another climber in one tree we came down his rope guide was stuck and so was my pulleySaver

I have only had my rope guide stuck once in four years, typically it was while I was retrieving it and mentioning how it never gets stuck!!

When i first started I thought I would do the climber a favour and retrieve his rope guide. Put my retrieval ball on and pulled the rope through. Only It didn't pull through because i used a standard sized ball which doesn't fir the art rope guide!! So stuck fast!!! Went up as far as I could with the mewp and had a knee chattering climb up to the anchor point to retrieve.

Before we all praise these pulley friction savers they still get stuck sometimes.

And in these times I'm thinking why I'm i not using SRT.

Nothing is fault free but if it's makes the job much more easier and less wear and tear on your body and kit......am all for it
