There is more than one article out there with the same story - different parent news sources which adds credibility to the story. If the article was an opinion piece on say, Linkedin I would also be saying 'Bless', but more than 1 credible source for this one.

What he means Andy is his source is fine anyone who disagrees with him or has a different political ideology, then there sources are not credible.

It is very difficult to debate this with you both as our views are so diametrically opposed. 

 

You see in Trump and his cronies a strongman who is fighting woke, defending American rights and standing up to the world.

 

I see a deeply corrupt and appalling shit stain of a man, who has surrounded himself with similarly compromised and cruel people, in order to obtain wealth and power at the expense of just about everyone else. He is using the office of President simply to serve his own ends and his election is a depressing reflection of just how stupid and gullible significant chunks of the American electorate are. Not to mention racist, selfish, xenophobic and uneducated.

 

These two positions are so far apart, there is little point in us ever really debating this. Week after week, Trump will be in the news for various horrendous transgressions, all of which you'll dismiss off-hand because they don't emanate from your selected news sources. As time passes, this abject degradation of the office of President, the debasement of American Democracy and the descent into fascism will be normalised and accepted, even by those that oppose the ideology. 

 

And these are the kind of anticedent events that give rise to such horrors as WW2. 

 

2025 America = 1933 Germany.

You know you've lost the argument J when you bring Nazi Germany into the equation. I know you've studiously avoided mentioning Naziism and instead use a date to mean the same thing but not seem like you've actually referring to Naziisim but the intention is clearly there. 

 

We are at polar opposites, as per usual but I respect your polite replies. Everything you claim I suffer from I see you suffering from but from a left leaning perspective. You and your foot lackies seem utterly blind to the failings of the Dems in the US and Labour in the UK. We've not discussed Sweden for a good while but the left leaning policies have all but destroyed the country. Im coming to that conclusion from sitting on a Norwegian Oil Rig working with Swedish lads and Norwegians living in Sweden looking to move back.

 

And please, dont tell me what I believe. Perhaps suggest in your opinion this is what I believe. It shifts the perspective somewhat. Your opinion on what I believe are way off the mark as I believe your opinions of the US electorate to be just as poorly judged.
