A British man living in Finland has warned that the UK is 'not ready' for potential Russian aggression.

The weapon you mention, we are not in any way shape or form ready to defend ourselves as a nation. We waste billions yearly yet just apply sticking plasters to our armed forces. Compared to the country in the article I posted we are a joke when it comes to being prepared. 

I don't see the point of us doing what Finland do - Russia isn't on our border. It's almost certain that the UK will be absorbed by a larger state, either before or after nuclear war, probably within the next 2000 years. We are wasting 5% of GDP just to delay the inevitable.

There's a weapons factory 5 miles from where I live.

The thing with nukes is that there's nothing you can realitically do to defend yourself, other than maybe try and get less mentally unstable people elected, I suppose. Don't worry about the things you can do very little about. If the sky turns white there's **************** all you can do about it. 

We can do things about the climate which might help, as the ecosystem we inhabit isn't completely goosed, yet.

But that's nothing to do with the wotsit cuckwit in the White House.

I don't understand your point. Are you saying that we shouldn't strive to be the best but should compete to be the most shit? What a fecked up view of what we should be you have. In a few short years I will hand over my tenure in this world - as you will too - to our kids, lets make a goal to leave it cleaner, better, an environment where they can see wildlife IRL (and not read about them on wikkipedia under 'extinct'), where they have an option to buy electrical shit - and use it- and not be limited to dwindling resources (like the coal you are pushing here, but also the oil and gas that gets you going too).

Your way of coming to the conclusion to suit your narrative by totally twisting peoples words is nothing short of pure fantasy. I find it difficult to comprehend you actually believe some of the stuff you post and simply do it to wind certain people up, no wonder your mental health has been in question in previous posts.

As for the idiotic idea of net zero will likely happen not because of the ridiculous amounts of money wasted on it, but because the way things are going under the current bunch of feckin' self serving nutjobs in power currently will have destroyed any means of producing any emissions, and no fecker will be able to afford to turn anything on for fear of running up the bill.
