No gear in NZ

Morning/evening all. I landed in Auckland just over a week ago and have some potential arb work lined up. Trouble is I rather stupidly didn't bring over any PPE from the UK, and didn't realise how expensive gear is over here in New Zealand.

So would there happen to be any kind tree surgeons out here in this neck of the woods that could help me out with any size 8 boots, trousers and a lid?

Feeling abit daft about not bringing PPE but I packed as light t as possible and over looked it.

Couple of pints or cash in return I ain't worried,Any help would be sweet.

Cheers, Josh

I know that honey brothers have shipped to NZ. Was surprised it wasn't that expensive and was quick. A friend of mine shipped out a husky saw as they are about half the price here compared to NZ.

Not sure about import duty. Would have to google that one.

Hope that helps.

Im south of Hamilton so might be a bit far away.. You aren't required to have chainsaw boots here, any lace up steel caps are fine.

I've imported a mixture of gear in one consignment from the Honey Brothers and overall it worked out slightly more expensive, once duties and GST were added on.

And as above, it can be risky importing used stuff, fines for cleaning items (through airport customs) can run into hundreds of dollars.
