  2. Criminally underrated film.
  3. In the interest of accuracy and that .......🙂
  4. I'm not planning to splice them for rigging, if that was your meaning. Working by myself is not the plan but learning is always good. I can see a lot of advantage to having the friction in the tree, it will reduce the 2:1 advantage that would otherwise double the force on the anchor. 3 strand is not listed in many arb shops, I can only see it here. What do you use? Marlow 3 Strand Lowering Rope 16mm - Radmore & Tucker WWW.RADMORETUCKER.CO.UK Lightweight, cost effective 3 strand lowering lines manufactured from staple spun polypropylene. The hairy feel of the rope improves grip and abrasion...

Thought would see if interest here. advert will be on eBay tomorrow night 07/10/2025 2100. Auction starting at £68. I can’t upload pictures here but there will be 18 photos and 1 video which will be available on eBay. Wow belter of a saw available here. Not even broken in yet 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 This Stihl MS 200 T is almost like new Saw was bought brand new in 2004. Had little use the owner got a job and did not need saw. Saw was boxed until 2020 when it was checked over by local stihl dealer. Fuel cables replaced and serviced. Was then put back in the box. I received this saw at the weekend and have done nothing more than clean and start it. You can feel the power when you squeeze the throttle. Saw still has original bar, cover, owner manual and used chain. Everything is right and compared to anything else I have seen on the market for years nothing comes close to this little diamond. What’s in pictures is what you will receive. Saw is used and has signs of use. Please refer to pictures as part of my description. Due to how rare this saw is I will no post unless buyer is happy to accept no returns. You are welcome to come and view or study pictures and video. Be aware due to eBay policy you must prove age before bidding. No offers this is auction only………………………. ………………………………………………………………………… I will not post unless buyer agrees to no returns. I will confirm with buyer that they agree to this before posting. If posted will be safely packaged and posted next day delivery tracked and signed for. This saw is to rare and original to have scammers swapping parts before returning. Please bid with confidence and collection preferred.

  9. There were some belted Gallways up on Harting Down for a while . Not fenced in , could roam where they wanted . All had GPS trackers on . They have been replaced with what look like Limousin cattle ( French I think ) also with GPS trackers .
  10. A symphony in beige. I had a pot of that. Too chemically.
  11. At least the bacon was cooked. Reckon these on top would be the finishing flourish.

So the last shall be first, and the first last.
  13. Thanks. It was a momentary lapse of concentration and I just caught it. I've packed the soil up a little more. the strands that are growing out of the join.... I was concerned that is some sort of fungus infection.... but it kind of looks like I've caused it to root from where the damage is. Amazing that plants can do that
  14. I appreciate you quest for truth. But you’re watching them the wrong way round.
  15. Steve. You need some anti-robot measures. Like the children from Equilibrium who can spot sense offenders.

I watched the reboot (semi prequel really) and OG 2 and 3 last week. The original tonight and then I shall pass judgement.
  17. Aye. Good gruel vibes. Delicious though. Bit of leek wouldn't have harmed.

They dont seem very common over here. I've never seen one, but a few arboretums list them so might be worth a visit. Theres a few uk nuserys with them listed if you wanted to buy saplings.

Accepting clean, solid timber suitable for woodworking projects. Prefer seasoned or freshly cut hardwood logs (oak, ash, elm, walnut, beech, sycamore, etc.) and softwood logs in good condition. No brash, clippings, or chip waste please — only usable wood that can be milled into slabs or boards. Access available for tipping by van or pickup, with space to unload larger logs.
  20. Interesting thread. Cattle are the answer - Galloways and their cousins Belted Galloways are particularly effective - apparently. Farmers trial use of livestock to control bracken without chemicals WWW.FARMINGUK.COM Farmers are trialling the use of livestock to control bracken without chemicals, with an ultimate aim to save costs while restoring habitats. Cattle and Bracken contd. – Bog Myrtle & Peat GALLOWAYFARM.BLOG Having recently written about cattle and bracken control, a brief follow-up is warranted after a walk across the hill last week. In one area where the cows often linger, bracken has been badly... I know that they have used them to very good effect on the Malvern Hills
  21. Looks foul.
  22. I need to purchase a new knee ascender. I was wondering what the best option is? I have noticed the SAKA is the most popular but the company making it doesn't list performance specifics. My Haas has 30in of travel for good long steps. Can the SAKA beat the HAAS for efficiency on ascents? Any help with this would be appreciated.
  23. Bacon skink. Have some potatoes of indeterminate breeding that aren’t good for mash or chips so made a chunky slurry as gaia clearly intended. Bacon, onion, chilli, garlic, salt, pepper. Cream cheese and the starchy water for the slop element. Thyme for a bit of sweetness. That’s the next few weeks sorted until the pheasants come on.
  24. Just approaching Glencoe Pete, then up to Ardnamurchan.
