Does anybody use a Lumag stump grinder?

I'm with IC TREES.

 

Heard that a guy with such a chinese stumpy had a cracked engine on the customers drive way, big oil mess.

 

Look at the wheel, what to do when it's dull?

Just no teeth to change, only the whole wheel, hard to sharpen.

 

I think it's a waste of money.

Get a predator, Laski, Rayco, Bandit, Dosko or Vermeer used.

One issue with less known brands can be getting the replacement parts - have a check and see if you can get hold of them easily and cheaply, especially if they are coming from abroad. A cheaper initial outlay may lead to higher costs further down the line!

 

We hire out Carlton Stump Grinders, which are brilliant.
