Just one krab, swing cheek micro pulley, friction cord.

 

I used this to check out if the system worked for me before I bought a hitchclimber. Works pretty much exactly the same. All you need to get is a small micro pulley (£10) and some hitch cord (3m will make two hitches)

The hitchclimber is one if not the best option out there, even if for some reason you decide the hitchclimber system is not for you it a versatile bit of kit to have in your bag, I have 3 of them in regular use.
