The Best Throw Line

I am sitting here looking at all the different types of throw lines, they all look reasonably simple in construction but I do understand they perform quite different in the field.

My question is which one is the best and why.

....Dyneema or Polyethelene?

....To coat or not to coat?

....Colour?

I would apreaciate your thoughts as this will help in the future direction of our product.

And by the way, if anyone comes up with a great name I will throw in some Armor Prus cord along with a new throw line.

Zing IT by far for me. I couldn't tell you the compound but i think the colour should be a red, yellow, orange, purple, pink, those kind of bright non tree like colours make it easier to trace the line through the canopy. Also some throwlines out there are way too weak and will snap at the first sign of any resistance.

What about the name Flyline?

ermmm no i wouldnt havent said so. im not sure of the construction, i just know it works well

I got what i thought was a liros one from a freind recently and it has a white out sheath with a red fishing line type centre. Sadly used i twice got the throw bag caught up on some natural fratcure prunning cuts and couldn't even break the line. so she sits in the naughty corner till i need her. :laugh1:
